Boat and hull in good shape.
Mast step needs attention, very common repair for Pearsons.
I have talked to several yards regarding this repair and the best option I believe is to cut the existing corrosion on the mast, and fabricate a gel fiberglass composite block to replace the portion cut, and to lift the mast step out of the bilge (water), and re step it to that. Many other Pearson owners have done this exact repair, as I said it is a common issue for these Pearsons. If you research it you will find it is an excellent fix and avoids the corrosive metal contact problems.

The boats bones are still very solid, with a mast step repair it will certainly be a forever boat and hold its value.
Pearsons of this model have an excellent reputation for a solid cruiser, standing room inside is 6’3”, and the boat has decades of life in it, excellent boat for solo sailors.
I just can’t maintain two boats.
