1969 Ericson 32-2. This boat needs work, but is overall in decent condition. It has a fresh water cooled Yanmar diesel engine that starts right up and runs smoothly. The interior features wood cladding throughout, which helps to insulate the boat and adds to its classic feel. The boat has an encapsulated, lead keel, so no issue with keel bolts. The sails have been stored inside the boat and are all in usable condition. It has a roller furling jib, and a spinnaker pole that attaches to the deck. There is a tiller arm in the lazarette that can be attached to the rudder post at the base of the helm in case the wheel steering fails, which adds to the saftey of the boat while underway.
On the things to do side, the water pump and muffler hose on the engine leak water and need to be replaced. Also, the boat will need to be hauled out and bottom painted, and it needs some cosmetic work. It has a head, but it is not in the best condition and would need to be restored, replaced, or removed depending on your preference.
All in all, this would be a great boat for someone who is willing to put some work into her and wants a decent sized, capable, coastal cruiser with a good reputation that won't require a huge initial outlay of cash to get out on the water get sailing.
