I have owned and sailed this vessel out to the Gate weekly since 2012 and have to sell now because of two hospitalizations
1. This is a 1978 Catalina (6435 produced) with tall rig (mast, mainsail)
2. Haulout 2011 w/anti-fouling paint (NOTE: previous owner reported Catalina “smile” between keel and hull which he alleviated with three (3)new stainless through-hull keel bolts (in addition to existing bolts). 3. Haulout again 2015 w/anti-fouling paint and new zincs on propeller shaft; monthly diver hull cleaning all of 2024 and new zincs on propeller shaft; propeller removed to reduce drag (2 external engines- 20 HP gas and 8 HP electric
4. Hull speed: approximately 6.7 knots (velocity in knots = 1.35 times the square root of the waterline length in feet (25)), or app 7.8 miles per hour. Will reach 9.2 knots to windward or beam reach with reefed main and full genoa jib however in 25+ knots wind
5. Two sinks with pedal pumps for faucet pressure/delivery
6. Engine RPM and Charging Amperes gauges; windspeed/direction and hull speed gauges;
7. Topsides professionally pressure washed and treated 2021 and maintained;
8. New 2 speed Harken self tailing jib winches, main, traveler/spinnaker (sail not included) and anchor windlass.
9. New 130% Genoa jib, 5 year old new mainsail, spinnaker aluminum pole, mounted on starboard lifeline stanchions
10. Bow lights, steaming light, new blue or white LED (25,000 hour) overhead spotlights on spreader, stern green and red all in working order
11. 12 V DC to 110 AC inverter located under chart table

Stern Garelick lift mount and 20 HP Mercury outboard with electric starter; extremely dependable; 8 hp electric outboard with huge 60 Volt lithium battery (both less than year old) also on stern mount next to Mercury; chargers for each with large gauge extension cord starting at left lazarette; starter battery for Mercury and lithium battery are both in stern lazarette;

11. Furuno Radar system. Sender is on 5' pole, starboard right rear quadrant
