Why buy a whole sailboat, when you can just buy a third?
Seeking 1/3 boat partner to share in the expenses and the sailing fun. We are looking for a partner to share this fine craft with 2 others. This boat is perfect for exploring the bay for long weekends and adventures. It is a great and easy romantic getaway. Looking for someone or a couple that is responsible and communicative.
We are the second owners, my dad bought it when I was in high school. I have sailed this great boat for the last 30+ years and it has been well cared for. It has new navigation electronics, chart, and sonar (Ray Marine), updated LED lighting, stereo, Ship to shore radio and new canvas dodger. It had new sails made for it by Pineapple Sails in 2020, and there are many other upgrades. This boat is fully equipped and ready to sail. (It will need to be hauled out and its bottom painted this winter)
She is docked in Marina Village Yacht Harbor in Alameda.
Boat Partner details:
$5k for 1/3 purchase and $300 per month for 1/3 of the dock fees, bottom cleanings, insurance and registration and etc.
The 303 was conceived as the sequel to the popular 30. The boat went into production in 1983 and 300 boats were built, with production ending in 1986. With its' broad beam and shoal draft the boat sails well on her feet. The 303 is an economical and versatile cruiser that provides a "big boat" feel that defies her 30 foot length.
