The Schwinn Searcher SL is the top shelf version of the Searcher model ,only offered for two year and ahead of it’s time.
A do it all hybrid bike with a high quality lightweight well built and engineered aluminum frame.
The frame came in Metallic Blue or Metallic Gold Fade.
It was first released in 1998 and again in 1999. Due to the frame materials and other factors, we estimate that this bike weighs around 30 pounds.
The Searcher SL is fully rigid.
Components
The Searcher SL comes with various high end best in the business hybrid bike components, including an aluminum, Ahead Tahoma Sonne IV stem, a threadless Tioga TG headset and Shimano shifters.
Drivetrain
The Searcher SL has 24 speeds and has a Shimano Nexave derailleur.
Wheels
It came with all-terrain WTB tires (622mm x NaN) and Mavic T138 Araya TX-350 rims.
