Cannondale 1988 SM500 mountain bike, in really nice original condition. Open to offers.
It has all original components–Shimano Exage (Exage was a new this year and specific for MTB riding) except for new Micro-shift derailleur; original Exage derailleur included, but needs a bottom jockey wheel.

Kenda tires.

18 speed.

Shimano M520 SPD Pedals.


Frame measurements:
Seat tube: 18" CTT

Top tube: 21.5" CTC

Serial # 18 / 060688 / 002—which means:
18 = size
060288 = June 2nd 1988 production date
002 = 2nd frame built.
