Bike was completely restored throughout: headset and hubs were cleaned and repacked with new grease. New brake and derailleur cables and new sealed bottom bracket installed. New WTB saddle, 2.1" tan-wall tires, and grips.

1989 Apex had a very cool fork with straight blades and mid-fork mounts for a front rack. Original t-bone stem with new riser handlebars for upright, comfortable position. Original handlebar available.

Thumb shifters are super smooth with Shimano Deore derailleurs front and rear and both friction and indexed shifting modes. Shimano cantilever brakes and new brake pads. Vintage Diamondback bear trap silver and gold pedals.

This vintage mountain bike is lots of fun on gravel and around town. Excellent clearance for wide tires.

Size: 20.5” measured from center of bottom bracket to top of seat tube.
