For sale is a 1980s Somec 26" mountain bike. An old-school Italian MTB, but with modern bits that'll allow you to handle anything (hills, gravel and all that). The size is around large (preferably for someone that's 5'11"-6'3"; I'm 6'2" and it's not too shabby).

Full 11-speed Shimano drivetrain (XT RD, headset, cranks and 11-46t cassette; Deore shifter, front cantilever and rear u-brakes (no need to cop Paul brakes. These are just as responsive.) and brake levers), Deore LX wheelset, RaceFace 34t chainring, GravelKing tires, Look/Vibram TrailGrip pedals, SimWorks Little Nick bars (700mm), Nitto seatpost (27.2), Flite saddle.

Could meet at El Cerrito Plaza or Downtown Oakland.
