Vintage 1920s-30s Humpback Wooden Trunk - $90 (vallejo / benicia)

Very roomy vintage trunk – metal-banded wood, with heavy metal studs & corner protectors, wood bracing on convex top.
Last used for a sea voyage in 1957, this wonderful roomy trunk is a humpback style durable piece of luggage. The body is of stout wood panels, covered with shellacked canvas, then banded with wooden battens and metal bracings on the edges & corners.
It has a bronze lock that is open. No key but it uses a flat key that might not be hard to find.
External handles, ,one on each end.
Entire interior papered with grey ticking-print paper or cloth.
Size: 35.5" L x 19.5" W x 20.5" D
Some stains to exterior painted buckram (see photos).
A very nice secure trunk for the price – a bit of old-time elegance to complement your décor!
