Vintage Korean lacquered three-tier cabinet (known as samch’ung jang), dating from the mid-20th century. Crafted from elm wood and finished in black lacquer, with hand-painted in color and gold scenes of Korean village life on every panel. Features brass fittings and locks, and complete with decorative keys.
This design was inspired by traditional Korean dowry chests from the 19th century, and this one was likely made around the 1950s–1970s.

All brass hardware and keys are intact. Excellent vintage condition with just minor signs of age.
