Beautiful Quarter Sawn Oak Desk. I believe this was just before the Craftsman period, but someone may know better than me. That would put it early 1900's. Was originally a typewriter desk (mechanism missing). More legroom without the typewriter hardware anyhow. It is a beautiful piece! It is finished on ALL sides. Measures 50" wide, 32" deep, 30" tall. On any of these, the cut out for the typewriter makes it a bit uneven, so we had a piece of glass made for it. Protects it, and makes it fully functional! It was taken apart and I can't find the screws for the top, but shouldn't be hard to find a few that work in that old jar in the back of the garage cabinet. Easy to transport the way it is. It has a really elaborate locking mechanism in the drawers as well, I tried to capture that in the photos. I have no idea if it was ever refinished, if it was, it was a long time ago. We have really enjoyed this piece for the last 20+ years, we just don't have room for it anymore. It needs a good new home. $80
