This is a very unique antique Morris/Mission style push button upholstered Oak recliner chair. It is circa 1914. It was manufactured by Royal Chair Co.
It is constructed of solid quarter sawn oak with leather upholstery.
The four chair legs have working metal casters. The chair back is reclined by pressing the button on top of an arm and the leather footrest if desired is pulled out from the front. It also has a metal storage basket with the footrest for storing reading material or convenience items. The wood needs refinishing and the upholstery needs to be replaced but the chair is in good solid working order. I made this ad while sitting in it. Refinished this chair would not only be functional but a centerpiece of attention and interest. Take a look at the photos and if interested in making this unique piece of furniture your own call 408-334-seven six five three.
If ad is here the chair is available.
Thanks, Ted
