4 panel Japanese screen from the Showa era. Screen features 7 elegant ladies in a bamboo grove. Hand-painted on gold leaf. Signed lower left and mounted with gold brocade silk. Measures 47 1/2 inches high by 71 inches across. It is 3/4 inch deep. Excellent condition with little to no fading of the color. Slight tear in the rear of one screen with slight water stain also on a back panel. Front panels are in excellent condition. $475.00 or best offer.
