Gorgeous, old (over 100 years), Persian rug, NOT backed. Heavy wool.

One tear precisely at right angle so repair easier for rug people (see picture)

COLOR: our house has a lot of windows, which kind of wash the color out. I would say the one that has the best representation of the true color is the one with hand in it. The one with the hand showing the right angle tear was taken at night so you can see how the color changes due to light in the room.
