I had no intention of e v e r selling this HD, which it turns out I actually assembled and set it up when new at the dealership, Ellingson’s Schwinn San Mateo.
I found it on Craigslist back when Craigslist first started🤣!
Due to a storage issue,it must now go to a good home that will keep it as is.

The Story?…
This particular bicycle is a rare black version special ordered, Schwinn Heavy Duti delivery, dispatch bike.
It was part of the fleet order of 12 standard Safety Yellow HD’s and this one black version for a San Francisco messenger service.
This was the owner of the company’s personal bike he ran around THE CITY on.
Predominantly North Beach ,Embarcadero , Nob Hill areas
19” 48cm 48 cm frame set.
Clean
Original right down to the “Sweetheart Sprocket”
One prior original owner till 1986 when I purchased it as above stated.
