This listing is for a custom painted Torpedo 18b typewriter with new rubber feet and platen. This machine was painted by HotRod Typewriter. This machine has the serial number: 1235867 which puts it as made in 1961. This machine sports a Pica Typeface, 10CPI.
This machine was purchased from HotRod Typewriter and has been part of my personal collection. He completely serviced the machine, gave it a new ribbon, new platen, new feet, and a beautiful paint job. It is even nicer in person. Unfortunately I need to downsize my collection and this machine needs to go to its next home.
The case is worn, it did its job to keep the machine safe. There is a crack on the top curve that was repaired.
