This listing is for a serviced Smith Corona 5TE typewriter with its case. This machine sports the beautiful Script typeface and a half line spacing mechanism. This machine types in approximately 12 characters per inch.

This machine was taken apart, cleaned, adjusted, and put back together for testing. All functions are working as intended. This machine being script has half spacing. A "single" line advance on this machine defaults to 1.5 spaces and this is normal because of the typeface.

I have also replaced the ribbon with a new all black ribbon from Ribbons Unlimited, new V-Belts, and replaced most of the sound dampening material. Please note the slight smudging you see in the type sample has been resolved.
