This listing is for a Serviced Singer 221 Featherweight which includes its carrying case, feet, and power cord. This machine has the serial number: AH990592, which puts this machine's serial allocated on December 9th, 1948.
Service Completed:
- Machine disassembly, parts cleaned in a degreasing solution and ultra sonic bath
- Exterior Cleaned, polished, and waxed
- Parts put back, oiled, greased, and retimed
- Machine Sew tested for any issues through 2 and 8 layers of denim
- New Thread bobbin felt, new stitch lever, replaced rubber feet and drip tray felt added
- Motor cleaned, checked, new grease wicks and grease added
- LED Bulb Added
- Foot pedal disassembled, cleaned, new power cord added, crack in bottom plate appoxied. New feet applied
- All Feet were also put through the ultrasonic, with the bobbins and bobbin case, zig zag foot went through a cleaning and service as well.
This machine includes a variety of feet including the standard, ruffler, bias tape, zipper, and a zig zag foot to name a few.
The machine is ready for many hours of sewing or quilting. I'll show you how to care for your machine, where to oil, grease, and take care of it so that it will last another 80 years.
