DICTAPHONE CYLINDER RECORDING MACHINE - MODEL 7 TYPE A
Made by the Columbia Gramophone Company
Probably dates from 1915 or so. And is a good example of early electrical office equipment. Uses wax cylinders to record dictation which is then played back. The horn is missing on this machine as is the microphone. It comes with the original electrical cord of woven fabric and the screw in type plug. It has a nice look about it and would make an interesting statement piece in a home office.
