This large bird was given to me in about 1994 by my neighbor. They said they had had it since I was a baby (early 1970's)...I used to joke about it all the time and when they moved, they gave it to me. I enjoyed it along with my parent for many years in the patio but it is time for this bird to take flight again. It is not heavy, it's i bit fragile (like any older metal outdoor sculpture) and could use a new base. We had it standing on a pipe that was on the property but was recently removed.
