This is a beautiful antique 1700s pata wrist, sword gauntlet. It is Indian/Indo Persian and very nicely crafted. Has lots of patina and age to it. The blade at some point in its life broke in combat, but the gauntlet itself is very well preserved. I believe it to be from the mid to late 1700s possibly early 1800s. Came from a large private collection of Indo Persian swords and weapons. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition dimensions and weight.
