This is a nice antique Indonesian Kris dagger. Made out of layered Damascus steel and has a very nice ornamental look to it. These were traditionally used as ceremonial daggers. The scabbard is made out of some kind of hardwood that has both sap and heartwood showing. The sapwood is yellow while the heartwood is almost ebony black.
