Victorian Sterling Silver collar necklace from the late 19th Century, c1880s. This is not a flimsy trinket, it is a substantial piece of history. It is heavy, quality sterling. It weighs 45 grams and is 16 inches, it extends to 18. The necklace closes with an hook clasp.

I have collected vintage and antique sterling since the 1980s. This is a rare antique. I have searched the internet for similar necklaces but there is nothing even close to this level of detail, except Albertina watch fobs of the same era. This makes it truly one of a kind. Similar, less detailed Victorian silver collar necklaces are selling for $1,500 - $2,500.
