I'm selling this original antique showcase/ display case in very good condition, dating to approx the 1900s - 1910s. This piece is perfect in a retail store or home environment for displaying small collectibles. The showcase is in good cosmetic and structural condition with with the expected dings/ dents/ marks to the wood (mahogany) frame. I've seen other showcases with similar design signatures that lead me to believe this piece was made in London, England. The original wavy glass is in place and in great shape. The shelves look to have been replaced but are very functional. All the original brass/ bronze shelf supports are present as is the locking handle to access the inside. This item shows wear commensurate with age including scuffs, marks, finish wear, dings, dents etc - as you'd expect from an item of this age. Please see the many photos provided and feel free to ask any and all questions. A very functional display piece, ready to be put to use in a retail setting or to highlight your favorite collection.
Measures approx: 35.5" tall x 20.5" wide x 20" deep.
Pick up is available from my Berkeley workshop, near the Gilman Whole Foods.
