Japanese pottery porcelain sake warmer server
Base=4 3/4”; height of container section =4”; height bottom to top of handle=7 1/4”; width =5 1/2”, top hole =4” wide .
Visual design is a flowing blue dragon motif with some Chinese cloud-like decorations. Has a slight chip in the bottom, see image of bottom . How the spout and handle are joined is interesting. Its heavy, not like a light tea pot. My parents bought it in Japan during the 1970s as an antique then. It has age wear on bottom but I don’t know how old it is. Its a nice piece to use to serve warm sake while drinking with a group.
NOT for use to warm using a microwave or directly on a stove top burner.
