I was art director and designer for the cover of the book “The Angelic Verses from The Book of Angelus Silesius” authored by Frederick Franck with written comment from Frederick to me about the design. I made sketches for the design, we discussed them and Frederick Franck made these two drawings of original art work for me to use for the cover of the book. I cannot find the wash background. I used the drawings and added the color during the process for offset printing of the cover. There are the two original drawings on paper both signed and with his red seal. Drawings are in very good condition given they were handled by various people during the process of off set prep. Drawings are 17" x 11" and 18” x 14”, Book is excellent condition.
