The Singer 531b-8bl is the same design as the Consew 206rb and the Seiko STH-8BLD, all of which were made by Seiko to exacting standards set by the Japanese industrial sewing machine industry equaling the German manufacturers. Being a walking foot compound feed it is perfect for leather or upholstery sewing. This example is in like new condition, having been only. used a few times in a home setting. It has been professional cleaned , serviced, and timed and runs like new. A small 2” pulley has been added for slower speeds and higher punching power. This machine uses the large M type bobbin allowing longer uninterrupted sewing runs and less frequent changes. Also, it comes with 10 new M bobbins, a huge collection of 15 new presser feet,, 5 packs of needles, instruction manual, 3 original singer screwdrivers, and a larger motor pulley.
