Around 1990 I wanted to make a nice, lit-up Ent-D (which didn't exist then) so I got the only kit available back then and went to town painting, using my tiniest Dremel bit to cut window holes, etc. I gave up after a while and the kit has been sitting in storage ever since. (I did NOT get to any gluing; you can see that some of the painted pieces are still on their trees.)
I figure maybe someone wants to buy this work-in-progress and continue it along, perhaps for a budding model builder (10-12) who wouldn't mind something with some of the work done to look at as a guide, or correct to their preferences? (Heads up: the decals are likely no good now after 35 years. :) )
The baggie of electronics for the lighting you see in the photo: The AMT kit came with no such thing; I was putting together my own little set up back then, but what's available today would obliterate it. I'll still include it here as I have no other use for it, and maybe you'll deem it good enough for a quick finish-build of this thing if that's what you're wanting.
I'm open to answering questions and/or taking another photo or few of something specific...but for now I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking.
We can meet in Berkeley at the large gas station/taqueria at Telegraph+Ashby (Chevron+Aliberto's) as an open place for looking, exchanging model kit/$. Thanks for looking!
