This is a a special full surface cooktop that I imported from Europe that allows you to put a pot anywhere you want and you can get up to five pots on there. I imported it because I couldn't find anything as good in the States. You can read more at the link below.

BUT - we cracked it :( You can purchase new glass from Miele for about $850. It still works and we've been using it for a few weeks like this. The part number for the glass is 8602042 and the part number for the adhesive foam is 8584092.

It's a little over 2 years old. Cost about $3500 new.

It requires a larger cutout than a standard 30" cooktop. It needs a 780 mm x 500 mm hole.
