Travel, according to Google map, depending on traffic but gives you an idea: Golden Gate, San Francisco 21 minutes, Bay Bridge, San Francisco 20 minutes, University Ave, Berkeley 12 minutes, Richmond BART 8 minutes, Center of San Rafael CA North Bay 13 minutes.
There are several restaurants, a coffee shop, groceries, and a beach all within a 5 minute walk. Point Richmond feels like a little beach town and is very close to all that the E Bay and Marin has to offer- it is 15 minutes to drive to Berkeley/Oakland or across the bridge to Marin County.
