Historic landmark, Victorian mansion with 8,500 sq.ft. of amazing architecture. Massive, beautifully furnished common areas and your own private, fully furnished room(s) with a queen or king bed. There are 19 furnished bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, 4 dining rooms, 2 full kitchens, and multiple sets of washer/dryer units. Plus several outdoor seating areas spread around the property.The Property
The house is surrounded by gardens with towering trees, edible fruit, and other exotic plants. There are several outdoor seating areas, and an extensive fine art collection within the home.Parking
Street parking is free and always available. Limited on-site parking can be reserved for a fee, otherwise parking on-site is first come, first served.The Neighborhood
Just a few blocks to great local fare including Xochi the Dog cafe, Champa Garden (Thai), and Philomena Pizza. There are many more great places within a mile.Lucky Supermarket and several pharmacies are less than a mile away.
For public transportation, there are 2 bus stops that are a 5min walk from the home that will take you directly to Lake Merritt BART station.
Pricing
The price shown is the average rate. We have a few small rooms that are less and a few larger rooms that are more. Feel free to ask if you'd like a discount, or an upgrade. Not all rooms are shown, and room options will be based on availability. Every room has at least a queen-size bed and a desk. Some of the larger rooms have king-size beds, 2nd beds, sofas, etc.**Add $10/night for a 2nd person
