"Living at 2912 Claremont is wonderful.
Among two excellent bakeries (Fourne and Nobalom), a burger joint, great coffee shops, restaurants on College, a grocery store open until midnight, the apartment is in a fantastic neighborhood with lots within a short distance. One of my favorite things was being so close to the Claremont Canyon hiking trails with its incredible views of the bay. It's right in the middle of two places we needed to be able to get to: the UC campus and Rockridge bart.
As for the apartment itself, we always got lots of compliments from friends about our charming, classic, apartment. It has tons of closet space. We converted one of the walk in closets that had a window into an office/studio space. Our cat loved the sunlight streaming in from the big windows and watching the squirrel that lived in the two-story high rose bush that bloomed outside our living room.
We had good relationships with our neighbors, and the building manager was impressively responsive if we ever had questions. We never experienced any noise issues - people who live here are quiet and respectful. :
