Small furnished cottage behind house in North Berkeley hills, one room with bathroom and small kitchen. Quiet, peaceful garden setting. The unit is small (21 feet x 13 feet) and furnished. There is a shower but no tub. It has a small refrigerator (with a freezer that really does keep ice cream frozen), a four-burner electric stove with oven/broiler in the small kitchen. New Mitsubishi heating/air conditioning unit. People usually like the quiet garden setting. For some, the place is too small. It has its own deck with a small table and two chairs. Washer-dryer access in main house. Non-smoker only, please. I have a well-trained, friendly dog, so tenant should be comfortable with a dog. It is very close to Tilden Park and to the bus stop. Rent $1850 per month, month-to-month lease. All utilities (about $350 worth of gas, electric, water, garbage and recycling, and high-speed Xfinity wi-fi) are furnished. Move-in cost is $4,100 (first and last month's rent and $400 security deposit).
