The Automotive Contracts Clerk is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and distributing deal paperwork from stores; the posting and reconciling store accounting. Required experience in a fast-pace automotive business office environment.
Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following; other duties may be assigned.
•Receive and process posting jackets; distribute paperwork to appropriate business office staff.
•Verify the accuracy and completion of verification of payoffs and check requests before processing and distributing checks.
•View, reconcile and post daily and month end accounting.
•Process service contracts applications and cancellations.
•Generate new posting jackets for trade in vehicles.
•Process unwind vehicle transactions by verifying completion and accuracy of paperwork, reversing accounting, and creating new vehicle files.
•Purge deal paperwork for filing.
•Maintain and distribute record of accounting and paperwork errors for purposes of employee training.
•Prepare necessary reports and analysis for month end closing.
•Provide support for and cross train in other business office positions.
•Minimum 2 years Automotive Accounting Experience Required

•Must be highly organized, have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities
