KIKOKO is leading cannabis wellness for women. We manufacture cannabis-infused herbal teas and Manuka HoneyShots in Emeryville, CA. Our start-up is growing rapidly and garnering major press and market share. We have built a conscious company that encourages professional and personal growth and are looking for the right individual to join our team.

KIKOKO is immediately hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures in entering and analyzing financial transactions, preparing accurate and timely financial reports; ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures, executing routine and recurring accounting functions, as well as various administrative tasks. This is a highly visible position that requires the individual to maintain confidential, financial information for various companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger data for various entity types by performing recurring routine accounting functions. Including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
Prepares and posts journal entries, including accruals and cash transactions.
Responsible for month-end close process, including adjusting journal entries, verifying accuracy of account balances and classifications, and reconciling intercompany transactions. Analyzes changes in account balances through account reconciliations.
Works independently, managing conflicting deadlines and priorities as assigned. Quickly adapts to changing priorities, managing and clearly communicating deadline risks as new tasks and projects arise.
Other administrative tasks as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS

3-4 years of recently related experience.
Advanced skills in MS Office: Word and Excel.
Experience in QBO.
Must have a commitment to excellence, high standards and confidentiality.
Needs to be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and work independently, as well as a member within various teams/committees.
Possesses strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills and manage priorities and workflow.
Must be able to enthusiastically manage changing priorities, be versatile, flexible and meet established project deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Prior experience in manufacturing.

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
