My fees are the following: $40/page or $50/hour. Regarding the per hour fee, I charge this for any projects that include outside research that I must conduct. Ostensibly, any information you give me beforehand would eliminate this from your total cost. Depending on the workload, I adjust the per page fee as well. As a case in point, a literary analysis requires different attention compared to a philosophy paper on Kantian double logic.

Digital recordings are by far the best quality for most recording and I have seen an easy-to-use digital recorder for sale at my local supercenter for about $50.00. It will hold 48 hours of audio (288 hours in LP mode, but that is not recommended as the quality is likely to be so poor that the audio could not be accurately transcribed. You may choose verbatim transcription (including all the uhms, uhs, ahs, likes, and you knows), or verbatim minus (most common and at a lower cost to you) with the extraneous material left out.
