The main bedroom is separated by French doors to the Living Room. The shower gets excellent water pressure. The loft bedroom is a child’s bedroom with a small single bed, suitable for an adult. Rental would be good for a family with a child as there are toys available. The apartment will sleep 3 comfortably but there are two single mats available for additional persons.
The apartment is in an excellent location in the very lovely Cole Valley neighborhood, within two blocks of famous Haight Ashbury. You're a walk away from Golden Gate Park and all the shops and restaurants found on Haight Street as well as Cole St of Cole Valley which has the same. The Castro and the Mission neighborhoods are a quick bus ride away, with the 33 bus on the block. This will take you to the BART system for a trip to the East or South Bays. The N Judah is nearby and runs downtown all the way to Caltrain. Multiple other buses can be found on Haight street. Parking is street parking only but no permits are required in the immediate area. It is located near a school that is closed during the summer and so parking is easy during this time.
This is a private and furnished home so the owner is seeking responsible tenants who are trustworthy and respectful. Apartment will be cleaned before your stay but not during.

Cove House is a charming cottage perched at the edge of an oceanfront bluff, overlooking some of the most spectacular coastline in Northern California. A bit of New England on the California coast, the white-washed wood beamed ceilings, comfortable cottage-style furnishings, and expansive ocean views make this a peaceful retreat from urban life. It's the perfect place for an anniversary or other special time away, and with many couples returning every year to it as their special anniversary place (if you look at our availability calender you'll see a good number of 2010 bookings, virtually all of which are returning guests).
Relax in the hot tub with a glass of wine and watch the fishing boats head for shelter as the sun sets over the islands, while pelicans and hawks fly by. Enjoy a leisurely game of croquet or horseshoes (both provided) while taking breaks in the Adirondack chairs in our lovely seaside meadow with its own amazing views. Wander down the path to the cove below and check out the coastal wildflowers and tidepools, keeping an eye out for otters, sea lions, and the occasional dolphins and whales. Rent a kayak in town and put out from your own cove. Cove House is one of the few properties on this stretch of coast with private access.
Need some cocooning downtime? Cove House has an extensive, varied, and literate library; a large collection of current and classic films; many games; a couple of comfy sofas for relaxing and snoozing; and a cozy woodstove with a large glass door and ample wood supplied so that you can keep a romantic fire going your whole stay. For those who have to stay in touch even while getting away, there's also broadband wifi for your laptop.
The town of Gualala is a peaceful seaside community a few miles north of Sea Ranch, on the border of Sonoma and Mendocino counties, with excellent restaurants, good markets, art galleries, and a spa. Gualala is in a unique "banana belt" section of the north coast where the fog rarely comes ashore, and sits midway along the stretch of Highway One recently named the #1 Coastal Drive in North America by Coastal Living Magazine. St. Orres, famous for its game dishes, is but 1/2 mile from the house. Local wineries along the back roads, and Mendocino Village (only a stunning coastal hour away), and beach horseback riding near Elk all make for great day trips. The Sea Ranch golf course, just a 10-minute drive from Cove House, is open to the public. Point Arena, only 20 minutes north, has a lovingly-restored cinema that shows first-run films, hi-def Metropolitan Opera broadcasts, and hosts live music.

One block away there is also a weekend shuttle to the back side of Alpine that drops you off at the Sherwood Chair. A great way to avoid traffic on busy weekends!

Our Quiet Meadow Cottage is located on the spectacular Mendocino Coast in a beautiful rural area just 1 & 1/2 miles from the Pacific Ocean on 13 acres of gardens, meadows and redwood forests, with horses and llamas next door on our quiet, dead-end, paved road. We are 5 miles from the fishing village of Albion, 12 from historically preserved coastal village of Mendocino (an art, wine & food lover's paradise), and 20 to 30 miles from Fort Bragg’s harbor, ocean fishing, whale-watching cruises, sand dunes, Botanical Gardens, the historic Skunk Train, many Anderson Valley wineries, and two virgin redwood preserves.
Our guest cottage is clean, cozy and quiet with a queen bedroom, tub & shower bathroom, small kitchen, sunny deck, and a comfy, sun-filled living room (with 2 additional day-beds). No other houses are in sight (besides the owners' next door), deer and wild turkeys frequent the meadow in front, nearby are extensive flower and vegetable gardens, and at night what you usually hear most is the distant ocean surf.
Costs: For one or two people during the winter season (Oct thru April) it's $125 for the first night, $75 each additional night, and $500 for a week. During the peak-season (May-Sept and 6 holidays) it's $150 for the first night and $100 each additional night, or $650 per week. There is a 2- or 3-night minimum for holidays and peak season weekends. If there are more than two people, add a one-time fee of $25 per person, and in all cases add a 11% county bed tax. There are no other fees. To reserve your dates, we request a check for half of the total sent immediately to Tom Wodetzki, 31901 Middle Ridge Road, Albion CA 95410.
(The listed price, $100 per night, is based on 1 or 2 people for 2 nights during the winter months (Oct-April): $125 for the first night + $75 for the 2nd = $200 for 2 nights or an average of $100 per night. Add the 11% bed tax.)
Note that we have video and DVD players and a TV set for films, but we do not get TV reception or cable. Cell phone reception is sketchy-- it works for some carriers and not for others. There is a phone in the cottage (707-937-5602) in case you want to give it to family or friends, and which you may use for local calls. High-speed internet is available thru a satellite dish connection. The cold Pacific Ocean 1 1/2 miles away keeps our summer daytime temp below 80 degrees-- 60 degrees during foggy days-- and nights can go as low as 45 in summer and 30 in winter. Bring layers. The cottage is heated centrally by a Monitor propane stove that you can adjust to your desired temperature. We do provide bedding and towels but no meals.
The check-in time is 3pm, and check-out is noon. The kitchen includes (besides stove, fridge, sink, etc) a coffee maker and tea kettle, plus sugar, salt & pepper, and usually some teas. However, you need to bring your own coffee, cream and all the food you want. Many restaurants are available in the area, and Albion village has a good little grocery store and deli. Driving directions are at the bottom.

Fantastic location on the West Shore near Sunnyside and Fire Sign Cafe.
Five month starting on December 1st to April 30th. No blackout dates. Cabin has great members in their 30 somethings with the want to ski (snowboard or snow shoe) rather than party.
Cabin is two stories and has a fully equipped kitchen that feels of being at home when in the woods.
Cotswold has been around for 25 years and while times are tough we have not raised our rates for 5 years.
Cabin has storage for all your linens and Ski gear. Closet desoigned to store your boots and Skis are available so you don't have to trek them back and forth.
Mud entry to remove your boots before entering the “Common Area” with a new 32" Flat Panel LCD next to Texas size fireplace. Also with Satellite, the owner added free wireless Internet access for those who have to work.
Great cabin, great opportunity to join as we lost a few members.

The condo is a time share (Rockwood Building, Unit H) managed by Perennial Resorts that we are unable to use this holiday season. The location is a few blocks from the Stagecoach ski lift on the Nevada side of Heavenly Valley. The casinos, restaurants, and shopping are only about four miles away.
There are two downstairs bedrooms with queen size beds, and one upstairs bedroom with two single beds. Including the queen size pull-out in the living room, the condo can sleep eight people. There are two full baths, one downstairs, and one upstairs.
This is an all inclusive rental. Two TVs with cable hook-up and a VCR, a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and coffee maker, are all included. Linens, towels, dishes, silverware, and utensils are all provided. You just have to bring the food.
This second level corner unit has wonderful privacy, with high ceilings, but you will have to climb an extended set of stairs from parking lot level. There is an available hot tub in a recreation center about ½ mile from the condo.
Heavenly Valley is so big it extends into two states, California and Nevada. With twenty six ski lifts and more than eighty trails, Heavenly has it all for beginners, intermediates and experts.
No pets are allowed. Local calls are free, but long-distance calls require a calling card. Normal end of week cleaning is included in the rental, but the renter is responsible for any damage to the unit.

Because this is a studio it does not have a full kitchen but does have a kitchen sink, nice size refrigerator, microwave, and convection oven.

Tahoe Donner Ski Hill is a great family ski area geared for beginners and intermediate skiers. The kids learn to ski program (Age 4-7) is great.
Tahoe Donner also offers cross country skiing, a snow sledding park, and the Trout Creek Recreation Center with lap pool, Jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, a full gym with cardio equipment, and massages.
The condo is about a 20 minute drive to almost any other area ski resorts. Easy access to Hwy 80.

It is a very private two story end unit and has two nice bedrooms, both upstairs, with a full bath. There is a half bath downstairs as well. The master has a queen-sized bed with cozy bedding. The other bedroom has two full-sized beds, its own TV/DVD player and stereo. Downstairs there is a wonderful kitchen with brown marble countertops, all new appliances, pine plank flooring...every amenity! There is a dining table for 4-6 and a counter with four stools for feeding the gang or bugging the cook!
The fireplace is beyond beautiful! It is done in flagstone slate with a custom detail including smaller stones and a log mantle.
The very private back deck has new all weather wicker chairs, an iron dining table and adirondack chairs for entertaining and relaxing...oh, and a Weber kettle for BBQing.

Tall Cedars, Pines and Oaks surround our home. Leave right from the house and hike through the Stanislaus National forest on foot or experience some of the best mountain biking that Northern California offers.
The kitchen is fully furnished and ready for cooking and entertaining. It includes all dishes and utensils for preparing meals or banquets. It includes a microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, stove and refrigerator and views of the lake and tall trees.
The dining room has a cherry table with chairs and views of the lake and trees.\
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, cable TV and VCR/DVD and views of the Stanislus National forest out both windows.

Lakemont Pines lake is directly across the street from our home. It offers sandy beaches, paddle boat rentals, playground, snack bar, fishing, swimming and non motorized boating lake with a lifeguard on duty in summer months. The use of the lake is maintained by membership tags and is available for your use.
Activities in the surrounding national forests include fishing, hiking among ancient redwoods, mountain biking on established trails, rafting on the Stanislaus river and canoing on crystalline lakes. Among other attractions of the area are the famous Moaning and Mercer Caverns, historic Gold Rush towns, winery tours, several golf courses, as well as swimming, boating, fishing and water skiing on the Lake New Melones reservoir.
Within or about a half an hour drive:
- walking distance to the Big Trees Recreation Center to 2 sparkling swimming pools attended by life-guards, tennis, basketball, and ping-pong.
- 5 miles to Big Trees State Park - walk through and around giant sequoia. Hiking trails.

The very small,TINY!Bunk room downstairs has a set of bunkbeds with 2 twin beds, good for kids or a very skinny adult, SLEEPING ROOM ONLY.
The gourmet kitchen has all new appliances, gorgeous St Cecilia granite slab countertops and a new rustic maple hardwood floor. The dining table seats six and there are comfortable barstools at the island counter. The interior furnishings of the house are in an updated casual Mountain Craftsman style. The bath counters are granite also.
Relax on the sunny deck and enjoy the filtered view of Lake Tahoe down at the Beach. We have a new gas BBQ , available for use all winter.
Numerous great local restaurants are just a short walk, including Spindleshank's, Captain Jon's, and Lanza's. The Old Range Steakhouse is at the foot of our street, and you can walk down to dinner and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets on the lake. It is a short walk to Vista Gallery with some of the North Shore Lake Tahoe's best original paintings and sculpture.
The main shopping area of King's Beach is a short drive for groceries at Safeway (1 mile) and other shopping, and Tahoe City is a short drive the other direction.
The house has all granite countertops, new carpets and hardwood floor, and hand laid slate entry. There is a wood stove in the living area for cool nights, and all of the bedrooms have cozy designer quilts and luxury bedding.
There is a one car (mainly for ski and bike storage and the Foosball table) garage. A Foosball table is located in the garage, too. The driveway has plenty of room for an RV or a boat trailer.
