Callie House Mgmt, in aassociation with Malicious Productions, are seeking a female actor/model for a lead role in a hip hop/soul music video. This film proect is being used to promote Bay Classic Records' recording artists, The Dime, their lead single, "Blue Galaxy," as well as The Dime's forthcoming full length album entitled, "Brickyard Cove." The lead role is that of the antagonist in our film. The part requires that actor portray a seductive temptress whose intoxicating allure renders men susceptible to mind control, and virtually incapable of resisting her charm. This video is being produced with a general audience in mind, so actor will not be required to be nude, wear anything that reveals too much, nor partake in any sexually suggestive scenes during filming. This short is being filmed on an EX1 digital camera, in 1080p, by accredited film maker, Andre Welsh (Method). This is a non union, non-paying gig, but there is great opportunity to recieve exposure both nationally and internationally, as Callie House Mgmt will be distributing the video by means of television, and internet programs. There is also opportunity for this part to become a reccuring role in future music video productions for The Dime in preperation for their album release in March of 2010. We can start off doing covers, or jump straight into original material, whatever is fine. But we should definetely share some common roots. This unique work will explore the impact of racism on black identity. It will use movement poetry and film. Dazi� Grego has been performing in the Bay Area as an actor dancer poet and hip hop artist for over 10 years. He is a graduate of the Experimental Performance Institute and holds a Bachelors of Arts with an emphasis on performance poetry.

If there is a word that has been utilized to describe his work it is �unapologetic� As an artist it is his belief that being politically correct interferes with the experience of truth.
He does not spare himself or his audience of the truth.

This is a casting call for multi-disciplined artists of color. A special emphasis is being placed on black artists. If you are black an activist actor poet dancer who is comfortable vocalizing and not scared of taking risks we need to connect. This work is being created for an artists residency an Mama Calizo�s Voice Factory.

The performance will take place in January and requires 3-6 hours of rehearsal weekly
The Audition time and place will be disclosed through email only. Please include a resume and photo. If you do not possess a resume I will accept a two paragraph description of yourself. Please answer the following questions.

How well do you work in emotionally demanding spaces?

What is your definition of racism?

If you could change one event that is rooted in hatred what would it be?

�Slavery� is not a response . A child born of there master would be free born. Is an answer.

This is going to change the way we discuss racism.

Opportunities for experienced performance artists who would like to develop 3-5min pieces that deal directly with spiritual physical or personal �dismorphia� based on the impact racism has had on there culture are available. �Culture� includes gender race and sexual orientation and religious beliefs or affiliations. These 3-5 min pieces are being offered to all artists. If you would like more direction or information you are welcome to contact me via email with your phone number so that we can discuss this in depth.

I am unable to offer monetary compensation at this time. I am in the process of raising funds to pay for the overall production of this work.

I am making a short film to possibly enter into film festivals. The movie is done filming except for one 3 second shot of two pretty, college age girls lying on the beach sunbathing in their bathing suits. I can pick you up and take you to the beach or just meet you there, and it should only take like 15 minutes at most to get the shot. I can work around your schedule. I'm not scary, I started filming this a couple years ago as a film student, and I just really need help finishing it.
The movie is about an overweight girl who hangs out at the beach fantasizing about a surfer she's in love with. The shot of the girls in their bathing suits will be in a montage at the beginning of the movie. I can give each girl $15, and you can have a copy of the movie (and your name in the credits). Plus, if you're interested in acting in local short films, I plan on making several more in the upcoming year, so maybe we could work together again!
