Exploring the Magical Welcome House
Straight out of the box, it's easy to see that this bright orange, plastic doll house with its pink "tile" roof was inspired by the bold colors that make the animated Dora the Explorer so much fun to watch. Eight rooms in four sections ensure that there's lots of places for Dora and her guests to explore and decorate, and a unique, folding design lets you configure the house in several ways.

When your child pushes down the chimney, an automatic release makes it seem like the house is magically unfolding to great her. This feature works best on smooth, even floors, and we found the plastic locks that hold the house open a little tricky to engage, so you may need to help your child with them.

Before your child starts helping Dora get settled in this welcoming doll house, you'll need to use a Phillips head screwdriver to insert three AA batteries (not included) in the bottom of the house. This powers fun greetings and a working lamp.

An Interactive Space to Share with Imaginative Friends
What really separates the Magical Welcome House from other doll houses is a fun set of interactive features. When a visitor presses the doorbell, a musical greeting from Dora is activated. She might ask, "Ready for an adventure at my house?" Opening the fridge is accompanied by an appropriate saying, too. Children can work these exclamations into their games, making "Snack time!" extra fun. When it's dinnertime, hopefully they'll remember that "Even explorer's need to stop to eat."

There are three "hot spots" in the house, one each in the playroom, living room, and kitchen. These let your child safely plug in special "working" accessories, like the lamp that comes with the house. When the lamp is plugged in, simply press the bottom on its base and it will stay illuminated for a full 30 seconds. Other available accessories include a bilingual stand-up clock and a microwave that talks (not included.)

Overall, our one complaint about this cool house is that it only comes with one sofa, one Dora doll, and one lamp. This means that additional accessories (sold separately) are necessary to fill the house and ensure maximum fun, especially if more than one child wants to play at a time. But this can be easily remedied.

However, the accessories that are included are lots of fun. The Dora doll has soft, rooted hair that offers a tactile element to play time. Her arms and legs swing back and forth, so that she can be positioned sitting or standing in several ways. Although, we were slightly disappointed that she can't turn her head or bend her elbows and knees. Additionally, the locking hinges and the "spring open" action are great features, but we are concerned about their durability over time.

Occasionally, the house sprung open when we wanted it closed, surprising and frustrating us. Since this colorful, interactive doll house is sure to become a favorite toy that will get a lot of use, and its plastic body seems sturdy enough to handle the activity, you might simply want to find a semi-permanent location for it. This will help preserve the action of the moving parts, and it will keep the doll house more easily accessible.

This lovely Barbie, beginning at the top is a work of art. The headdress is of multi colored sequines, framed in silver like shimmering beads. There is a lovely white lace trim above and aound her head and wrists. The high collor is one of aristicracy. Attached to the gown/bodice is of the same material. Below that is a beautiful gown outstretched in a greyish bably blue color. It is decked out in sequines that are blue, purple, pink, silver and white as well as beading along the seems and edges. In the center of the gown is a diamond shaped pattern outlined with beads in pink and silver. In the center of the diamond shapes is a silver bead. She has light blue lace overlays on the outer edges of her gown. Her hair is pulled up in a French style upsweep with a beautiful blonde curl off to one side. She is wearing a lovely hair ornament of pearls and diamond like crystals and beads. Her jewelry is a pearl like stone in white metal with earrings that are a white metal stud that have a teardrop shaped pearl like stone dangling from them. I'm sure you have been seeing a lot of Xbox 360 Arcades up for sale recently but I am selling the best version and here's why:

Manufacture Date: 10/24/09
This means that this XBOX 360 is a JASPER system (extremely low chance of getting the RED RING error). It uses the lowest power supply (150watts), saves the most energy, and is quieter and less hot then the other XBOX's out there.

ALSO, this is a early JASPER system, so it is moddable. The brand new Xbox's you see for sale are not moddable!!! My Xbox has an older CD-drive so you can flash mods onto it, that is not possible on the newer JASPER systems. DON'T SETTLE FOR AN OLDER XBOX THAT WILL RED RING ON YOU, AVOID THE TROUBLE!! My Xbox also has 2 more years of warranty from Red Ring so you feel assured. A lot of the other Xbox's on Craiglist are old or refurbished and can't guarantee you this..

This system works 100% NOTHING is wrong with it. Not refurbished, very lightly used (probably less then 50 hours play time on it). Comes with all cables, a wireless controller, and a mint condition XBOX 360 (256 mb ONBOARD memory). It will also be in its original box.

The price is firm, $150. There are very few JASPER units out there that are still moddable. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY. You must provide a phone number or I will ignore your emails!! Local pickup only.
