Call the Planning and Zoning "Code Enforcement Planner" Lois Scott, the "Code Enforcement Supervisor" for San Francisco and report them. The supervisor will put you in contact for the "Enforcement Planner" for your area of the city. Start documenting days their illegal guests come and go. Photograph the rental cars. If you see their properties on vacation rentals, save the pages and take screen grabs for documentation. If they are on one site, they are more than likely on several. Many of the web sites give the dates the property owners started listing their vacation rentals on the sites. This will tell you how long they have been illegally renting. The city will open a case, if they do not stop, the property owners will be cited and fined. Start by looking on VRBO.com. Almost all of these property owners advertise on this site.
Additionally, please contact your local City Supervisor and the sites whom allow them to advertise these illegal rentals and request that they alert the property owners that these type rentals are illegal!

Activities and Attractions
Jenkinson Lake
1.5 miles form the house is Jenkinson Lake, which is part of the Sly Park Recreation Area. Lots of hiking trails, horse trails and ATV, dirt bike and mountain bike trails. Can water/jet ski on Lake. You can hike to the lake from the house and with the lake in front and the Sierra Nevada range looming in the distance; this hike is breathtaking. Fishing at the lake: Rainbow, Mackinaw, and Bass.
The Sierras:
Mormon Emigrant Trail, just off Jenkinson the lake, connects with Highway 88, which leads to Carson Pass in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mt. Range; Visit Kit Carson lodge, Silver lake and many lakes high up in the Sierras. It is beautiful, serene, and medicinal.
There are several other lakes in the area for day trips, (Union reservoir and Loon lake, [one of the highest lakes in the Sierras and very pristine]).
South Lake Tahoe
is about 45 minutes for Casinos and shows.
Gold Country
Coloma and Placerville are about 15-20 minutes away…Coloma and Sutter’s mill is where Gold was discovered in California. Hwy 49, is not far and is a great drive scenic drive through the gold country of California. Go up in the Sierras or go to wineries, small towns.
Water rafting on the American rivers also near Coloma.
Apple Hill is about 10 minutes away where there are more than 50 ranches including Christmas tree growers, wineries, a micro brewery, Spa and vineyards. Plan a picnic on the lush land that surrounds these exciting ranches. Their doors are open and the growers have gone the extra mile to ensure your family a day that they will remember.
Golf: Several Golf courses, (Apple Hill, Camino, El Dorado and Mace Meadows) are 15-45 minutes.

This professionally decorated cottage has all the amenities, from a lovely backyard BBQ area, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, and bicycles included. The bedrooms each have new deluxe queen size beds and there are two full bathrooms. The house is conveniently located a short stroll from the all the historic downtown restaurants and over 15 wine tasting rooms. Downtown Paso Robles is always hopping with summer concerts in the Park, Wine Festivals, car shows, Farmers Markets, Lavender and Olive Festivals, Studios on the Park where you can view working artists and visit the art gallery. Wander through the many boutiques or grab an ice cream cone or candy from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or Powell's sweet shop. You may want to explore this charming town on the bicycles provided for you. Take a spin down to the Fairgrounds to check out the Mid-State Fair in July and August or one of the many horse shows, home shows and bicycle events such as the Amgen Tour of California and The Great Western Bike Rally. Have a ringside seat for the unique and wonderful Vine Street Victorian Christmas Showcase. Whether you are using the De Vine house as a base to explore the surrounding areas such as Hearst Castle, Morro Bay, Lake Nacimiento, or historic Templeton, or simply want to relax in the shade of her 100 years old trees; your experience should be simply DIVINE! This modern vacation retreat (called the MEMORY LANE home) is on a hilltop next to the Russian River. This home is newly listed as a vacation home for 2008. Memory Lane is conveniently located in Guerneville, not far from Korbel winery, with easy access to the River at Rio Nido and 15 minutes drive to the Pacific Ocean. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths home is situated on ¾ acre of beautifully landscaped hillside and surrounded by redwood trees and a rose garden. The house is accessible via a private driveway, with ample parking and easy access into the house. A large redwood deck surrounds the house on four sides, where you can sit in the sun or in the shade. The community swimming pool (opens from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends) and recreation center is only a 5 minute walk away and is free to guests (up to 6) using our membership. In addition to the 30’x60’ pool with lifeguards, there is a kiddie’s pool that is only 18” deep. Also available for your enjoyment at this center is a large lawn area, basketball court, volleyball court and a horseshoe pit. Two kayaks are available for your use on the River. Two kayak dollies are provided for your convenient. Free internet connection (Wi-Fi) available in the house, so you can check your email while sititng around our deck. Memory Lane home is a perfect retreat for 4 to 6 people to relax, sit in the hot tub, play some ping pong, or roast marshmallow in the fire pit.

MEMORY LANE is located in the neighborhood of Rio Nido, about a mile west of the Korbel winery. It is less than 5 minutes drive to downtown Guerneville, Johnson’s Beach, Armstrong Woods State Park, and Safeway. River access to launch the kayaks is a 7 minutes walk from the house to the Rio Nido Beach. The Pacific Ocean is only a 15 minutes drive, where you can explore the numerous beaches up and down the coast. The Rio Nido Roadhouse restaurant is located nearby where during a few evenings, you can enjoy live entertainment music from the rear deck. MEMORY LANE is located 68 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

We are located right in the middle of Templeton’s historic wine district and are in walking distance of 3 local wineries. A five minute drive from downtown Paso Robles. Beautiful Cambria, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle and San Luis Obispo are only a short 30 minute drive from the house. Beaches, horseback riding, hiking, shopping and dining experiences are at your fingertips. There are 3 lakes within a 30 minute drive, Naciemento, Santa Margarita and San Antonio for your boating pleasures. Carmel, Monterey and Big Sur are only a short hour and a half drive away.
This Santa Barbara style house is situated on 6 peaceful acres in a park like setting surrounded by over an acre of grass. Across the grassy area of the property are 3 acres of Zinfandel and Grenache vineyards which are state of the art and Bio dynamically farmed. This picturesque neighborhood is comprised of horse ranches, farmlands and other vineyards. The ambiance lingers with you as you enter the exquisitely furnished and professionally decorated home. The distressed hardwood floors in the main living areas are covered with oriental carpets for your comfort. The large two story living room has an over sized corner Kiva wood burning fireplace, a 42” flat screen TV and DVD player, a sitting area, a six person game table, as well as, a well appointed bar. The large gourmet kitchen is enhanced with professional appliances, a wine refrigerator, and easy in/out access, perfect for any catering occasion.
There are 4 unique bedrooms with handmade custom bedding and luxurious linens and 3 gorgeous bathrooms. The 2 master suites have king beds, flat screen TV’s and their bathrooms have oversized showers: one has a large 2 person Jacuzzi tub. The other two bedrooms have queen beds with a shared marble bathroom. Three of the four bedrooms have French doors opening to a covered veranda with beautiful views of the Estate Vineyards.
Centered in the grand dining room, off the living room is an elegant banquet table which seats ten. The loft above could accommodate an overflow of children for an additional sleeping area.
At the back of the house is a large covered deck with a terrific view of the seasonal creek and the Zinfandel vineyard. It’s the perfect place to barbeque, enjoy your meals or just sit back, at a large table with seating for 8, and enjoy the beautiful country views. Connected to the covered deck is an open 30’ x 40’ wooden deck. It’s perfect for outdoor parties with room to seat 50 plus.
The residence is located on the east shore of Lake Tahoe in a gated community of 100 homes. It was built in 1936 as a summer home, and renovated in 2006 as a family vacation home. The renovation preserved the exterior character of the original cabin with new roofing, windows, doors and insulation added for comfort. The interior was reconfigured to provide accommodations for family gatherings. The kitchen was expanded incorporating a back porch, and includes modern appliances with a new banquet. The bathroom was expanded utilizing a storage room to provide dual showers with dressing areas and a separate vanity. Upstairs a closet was utilized for a new bathroom and a forced air heating system installed. The intention was to keep the charm of Old Tahoe while providing modern amenities for comfortable living.
