JOB DESCRIPTION:
Great Place to Work Institute® is in the process of developing an innovative training course to help companies transform into a Great Place to Work®. The Instructional Designer will work with a co-founder of the Institute and the training team to finalize the overall instructional flow of the program and see that content is both relevant and clearly communicated. Close collaboration and partnership both with the thought leader and other team members is necessary in the effort to develop a dynamic learning program. The instructional designer will be responsible for creating a detailed facilitator guide and a participant workbook and materials, overseeing the completeness of the final instructional content, incorporating innovative teaching approaches in presenting the material, and ensuring it fits the appropriate format.
Job Qualifications / Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required. Masters Degree in Instructional Design or Education-related field is preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of training development experience demonstrating a proven track record in researching, designing, writing, developing and delivering training programs.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Extensive knowledge of current and emerging instructional methods and design. International working experience is preferred.
5. Ability to work confidently and effectively with visionary leaders.
6. Demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyze and logically organize conceptual information, and transform complex notions into professionally designed, interactive and effective programs.
7. Ability to apply principles of adult learning, learning styles, and various instructional design approaches and processes to the learning content. Demonstrated creativity, flexibility, and innovation in course design.
8. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
