JustPressPlay (www.justpressplay.net) is a multi genre review/news site providing coverage on games, music and movies. We are in our sixth year of operation and are independently run with staff composed entirely of volunteers.
Our movie and music coverage has been far superior to that of our game coverage and we are seeking an individual(s) who can work with us in changing that.
The games editor position is just like our other positions, unpaid. However, there are perks to the position which we can discuss in more depth later.
Ideally we would like someone who has had experience in working with the games industry and is able to navigate through the many hurdles of dealing with game PR firms and developers. We would be interested in hearing from anyone who feels they can become a part of our team, be dedicated and willing to learn.
The position does not require a great deal amount of time per day. I would generally say anywhere from 2-4 hours per week would be a good range of time required. We are willing to work with those that have minimal experience as long as they are able to be dedicated. What is a requirement is that you be 18 years of age or older due to the type of content we receive.
