GlobalShift.org is looking for committed student writers who are personally dedicated to the global issues of human well being which include but are not limited to subjects of poverty, conflict, politics, environment, development, justice, equality and more.

An ideal candidate will submit a minimum of 5 blog posts per week. In special instances, applicants who are involved or dedicated to a specific issue may be granted a "weekly column". Each writer will be responsible for uploading posts to the site manually according to a list of standard guidelines. The position also requires the blogger to engage in a fair amount of social network marketing utilizing platforms such as Facebook, Digg, Twitter or other blogs to promote readership.

A typical post pays between $5 and $8.00 and incentives are available for writers whose posts reach certain benchmarks each month.

We ask that all applicants seriously consider their availability before applying for the position due to the deadlines associated with a live publication as well as the network marketing involved.
