Eveo is looking for an experienced Java Web Developer to handle various web development projects. Candidate should be highly skilled in J2EE web site development, including OOP design, component usage, and integration with dynamically driven web sites using Spring, Hibernate and JUnit for testing. This position will also require some programming experience with DHTML/HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Applicants with real-world experience developing full cycle J2EE applications will be given top priority.
Specific Responsibilities
Developing server side code to support media rich sites.
Communicate with the design team and Flash developers to provide the required functionality.
Create web services as needed.
Communicating with various parts of the team to keep your projects on track.
Requirements
Significant working knowledge of core Java and J2EE.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
HTML & CSS
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of database design and SQL.
Bonus Points
Experience with ActionScript 3
Experience developing with Flex
Experience with AJAX
Experience with Tapestry, Hibernate and Spring
Must be able to work in house, this is a contract to hire position
Must be able to work in the US
