Are you an experienced web designer who’s passionate about usability and designing compelling web solutions? An incredible opportunity is available for an experienced Lead Web Design professional who is seeking to play a key role in the evolution and growth of credit.com.
As the Lead Web Designer based at our headquarters in San Francisco, you will work with a small and talented team who’s passionate about user experience and building compelling web solutions for consumers. As an integral member of the credit.com team, you will collaborate directly with senior management, product management, front-end web developers, and QA to improve the website, product aesthetics, usability, and engagement. You will utilize your experience in web design to manage the full range of design tasks from product and information architecture to user research and visual design. This is an ideal position for a candidate who’s an all around superstar that has a blend of creative talents and technical skills and can contribute from inception to execution on both high-level design strategy and detailed execution.
To be successful in this dynamic role you will need the following experience and skills:
- Proven experience in designing best-in-class web sites and web applications
- Passionate about usability and designing UI for consumer websites
- Comfortable with rapid iterating through concepting, mockups and execution
- An online portfolio of your web UI work
- Strong conceptual, visual and interaction design skills
- Strong knowledge of CSS, HTML, XHTML
- Proficient in all commonly used design programs
- Knowledge of Adobe Flash a plus
- Knowledge in designing for cross-browser and multi-platform environments
