JUXT Interactive (
http://www.juxtinteractive.com) is seeking a talented, experienced and passionate Flash Application Developer to work with our engineering and creative team. The ideal candidate has 5+years of industry experience in a role as a Flash Developer. Excellent verbal and written communication are paramount. We expect effective communication, a positive attitude, and an inspiring strong work ethic. Must have the ability to lead teams of developers to deliver outstanding solutions at the highest quality on time and within budget.
Required Skills:
-BS or Masters in Computer Science or other relevant major.
-5+ years Flash Development experience.
-3+ year's interactive agency development experience.
-2+ year's using AS3.
-Able to work with Creative and Technical Director to plan and architect complex Flash applications and web sites.
-Must be passionate about Flash development and interactive design and have an extreme dedication to quality of execution as well as desire to push the boundaries of interactive development.
-Have experience generating technical documentation.
-Must lead the team in developing projects at the highest and most current level of technical standards and practices.
-Able to proactively work to define opportunities for gained efficiency and improved effectiveness for the flash development team.
-Solid understanding and respect for usability.
-Expert in latest Flash Player features.
-Proven experience with Flash Video Delivery and Integration of Sound, Motion Graphics, Animations and Transition sequences.
-Proficient at Client/Server Integration (Flash Media Server, Remoting, XML, SOAP/Web Services and URL encoded name/value pairs).
-Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant design tools.
-Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
-Open to be challenged by Creative Directors, Clients and other team members.
-Must be willing and able to lead teams of other developers and motion designers to deliver effective projects.
Desired Skills:
-Extensive experience with Flash video.
-Experience developing for localization.
-Papervision experience.
-After Effects experience.
-Experience with Server-side languages: PHP, JSP, .NET
