Small, fast growing company needs a permanent, full-time individual/handyperson to oversee maintenance of 80 + residential units, located throughout the city of San Francisco. The ideal candidate would be extremely motivated and reliable. They should possess the ability to problem solve and work independently, with little supervision.
Skills required:
Basic knowledge of all areas of property maintenance including; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall repair and painting
Valid California drivers license with good driving record
Proficient in written and oral English.
Good interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
Flexibility to work on and prioritize a variety of tasks.
Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
Ability to manage others
Basic computer skills to provide written reports and email
Good demeanor to interface, with residents and promote resident retention
Bilingual in Spanish/English, not required but helpful.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Plumbing repairs; snake drains, clear garbage disposals,
Minor electrical; changing outlets, fuses, trouble shooting
Changing locks
Tenant move-outs; cleaning, repairs, painting
General repairs and maintenance
Generating maintenance reports, tracking work order history, tenant/vendor follow-up
