Wee The Band is looking for one or maybe two more vocalists who love tricky four+ part vocal jazz arrangements.

Wee:

* Play and sing a wide variety of music styles incorporating americana/folk, blues, rock, soul and jazz
* Are currently five people - 20s, 30s and 40s, with jobs, families, and lives, who are in this for fun
* Are really excited about the band and where it's going and dream of quitting our lives to go on tour
* Have been gigging at a number of clubs, wineries and festivals in the SF Bay Area
* Recorded one promotional CD and are ready to go with several others as soon as somebody wants to spend the cash
* Have had sweet four part harmonies in the past and can do pretty amazing things with three right now
* Are great at working together to do some striking arrangements
* Are fine with re-jiggering and re-learning our parts as we work with a new vocalist(s)
* Share rent on a space in West Oakland for practice on Monday nights

You:

* Are in it for the same reasons
* Have a good personality and everyone likes you
* Can easily throw in a harmony to a new melody line you've just heard
* Might be able to improvise a 3rd part to two parts already going
* Aren't scared of very close and seemingly dissident harmony parts
* Are more or less an alto or are very comfortable singing there
* Have a great range, excellent dynamics, and good mic control
* Have experience in a performing vocal group of some kind, ideally a good one we can listen to
* Hopefully want to sing lead on a number of songs, and do it with feeling
* Are comfortable learning some existing vocal parts, as well as experimenting with us to arrange new ones
* Might play an instrument or several
* Might enjoy writing music and/or lyrics
* Have a good presence and are comfortable on stage, and aren't scared of a little bit of choreography
* Might be able to help us out with a little bit of much needed choreography
* Will come to practically all of our Monday practices, and will try to learn/remember your parts in between
* Will do everything you can to fit our two to four gigs a month into your schedule
* Might be willing to share some of the legwork with promotions, gigs, etc.
* Are over 21, are comfortable with bars, clubs, and the S.F. scene in general
* Should be able to pitch in with practice space rent, rides, and maybe recording down the road

We really probably only need one more vocalist to make some sweet four-part harmonies, but if we found two incredible people what's wrong with that? Introduce us to your brilliant friend if you like and you can come sing together.
