We are a family of four, with two girls ages 13 and 17, looking for a swap in Manhattan for 5-7 days right after Christmas. Our place is a 3BR, 2BA in the Glen Park neighborhood. It's comfortable and clean, with a family room downstairs and a small garden and art studio in the back yard. Travel with family is so much easier when you have the comforts of home�much nicer than staying in a hotel�and we have wireless internet, HD TV with cable, and washer/dryer. We are three blocks away from a small commercial area with shops, restaurants, and a nice grocery store. The Glen Park BART station is right there, and also several bus lines, so it's easy to get around the city without a car. It's about a 12 minute BART ride to downtown SF. We've lived here a long time, and know most of our neighbors, so there are many around who can help if problems arise. Last year we swapped with a Manhattan family for a week after Christmas, and it worked out great for everyone.
