We are a hip and fun Salon in the SOMA area and we are now hiring for the position of Salon Coordinator (Full Time) / Receptionist (Part Time)

We are looking for a FRIENDLY individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment.

The candidate should be:

� Friendly with supportive attitude

� Motivated and a self starter

� A leader yet follow directions well

� Able to multitask, attentive to detail, and customer service oriented

� A team builder and work cohesively in a team environment

� Trustworthy, punctual, efficient, and courteous with a great work ethic

� Experienced in Salon, Spa or other customer service field

� Able to Multitask

� Excellent with People Skills

SOME of the Duties include, but are not limited to:

� Answering multiple phone lines in a friendly, articulate and consistent manner

� Product and service sales

� Booking appointments, inventory & ordering

� Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays

� Keeping the Salon environment clean and organized throughout the day

� Assisting other staff to enable them to function better at their positions

� Basic computer skills

Assistant Fitness Manager (financial district)

Primary Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

�Assist in supervising the Fitness Department personnel, including Program Directors, Private Trainers, Fitness Receptionists, Administrative Assistants, and Registered Dieticians/Nutritionists
�Develop and oversee employee member service skills to ensure program adherence to company standards of safety, progression, personalization and creativity
�Develop and oversee employees� use of exercise equipment with regard to body alignment, muscle stabilization and execution
�Train and oversee employees� assessment skills to insure accuracy and a positive motivating member experience
�Prepare Program Director, Fitness Receptionists, Administrative Assistant, and RD/Nutritionists schedule
�Ensure that the Fitness Department equipment is in good condition.
�Respond to members� concerns, suggestions and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
�Demonstrate awareness of the importance of membership sales and member retention.

Qualifications

�Bachelor�s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, Exercise Physiology,
�Physical Education; or nationally recognized certification; or equivalent
�Current CPR Certification
�Two years of practical experience in the field, with a minimum of one year of management experience
�Excellent communication and organizational skills
�Flexibility with schedule
�Intermediate or higher computer skills are preferred

Physical Activities

�Requires a wide range of constant physical activities, including but not limited to: sitting, walking, standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
�Frequent repetitive movements
�Frequent movement, lifting or carrying of weights

Primary Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

�Develop a safe and effective exercise program that is consistent with member�s needs/goals
�Demonstrate and instruct proper use of equipment with regard to muscle stabilization, body alignment, and execution
�Provide clear and concise instruction before and during activity
�Consistently demonstrate a sales through service philosophy
�Take a proactive approach to member retention by developing solid relationships and serving each member above and beyond expectations

Qualifications

�BS degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Sports Medicine, or an equivalent discipline (new grads will be considered)
�Certification by a nationally-recognized organization upon hire such as NASM, NSCA, ASCM, or ACE
�CPR/AED certified
�Working knowledge of current fitness trends, personal training techniques, and safety practices
�Availability to work flexible hours and to maintain a minimum of 20 hours per week
